What’s In Your Fridge?

What’s In Your Fridge?

After the holidays is a great time to clean out the fridge! I start by making menus based on what we have to get it as empty as possible. Better to eat what you have then to throw it away. Then simply start from the top and work your way down wiping all interior surfaces. A basic solution of dish soap or your favorite multi-purpose cleaner is fine. Don’t forget to get under the shelves as well as above. Remove drawers clean the door shelving too. Last, clean the inside of the doors and ledges not normally seen. A toothbrush works great for crevices with a simple baking soda paste for stubborn stains or food spills. Next, pull out your clean refrigerator. Dust the back, make sure the hoses are attached properly and wash the floor and baseboards. Finally add a new box of baking soda to keep your food fresh and your clean refrigerator smelling great!
