Yes, Rag Mops carries insurance to protect our employees and our customers.

2. Are your maids employees or contractors?
Rag Mops only has employees. We do background checks on each person including social security verification. Then we train each new employee personally in our own home.

3. Do I need to provide cleaning supplies?
At Rag Mops we bring all the supplies and equipment needed to clean your home. If there is something special you would like us to use, like stainless wipes or granite cleaner, then we ask that you leave it out each time.

4. Do you send the same maid each time?
Yes. We think it is important to have the same person come to your home every time. However, sometimes the maid is sick or on vacation. When that happens, we will cover your home with someone else.

5. What form of payment do you accept?
At Rag Mops we accept cash, local checks, VISA, MasterCard, and Discover. If you choose to pay with a credit card, please make arrangements prior to your scheduled cleaning.

6. How does tipping work?
A tip is never expected but always appreciated! Many of our customers tip for a job well done. You may leave cash or add it to your check or credit card. A tip for your maid is strictly optional.

7. What if I have to cancel a cleaning?
We understand when unexpected things happen; sick kids, work, and travel. Please call our office by 8:00 AM to cancel your scheduled cleaning.

8. What happens if I forget to call or you can not gain entry into my home?
Rag Mops always calls to confirm your cleaning two days in advance. We appreciate a phone call by 8:00 AM to cancel your scheduled cleaning. If we arrive at your home and can not gain entry, a “No Show” fee per maid may apply. A missed appointment is a loss to everyone.

9. What happens if my cleaning falls on a holiday?
If your regularly scheduled cleaning falls on an observed holiday (New Years Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving Friday, and Christmas) then we will consider your cleaning “skipped” and resume the next scheduled cleaning.

10. What if I want to reschedule the “skipped” cleaning?
Absolutely! Please call our office to choose another day. Please note that we will be available to clean your home on the Saturday before Thanksgiving and Christmas as a convenience to you.

Not at Rag Mops. We understand that life happens and sometimes you need to cancel service. We look forward to serving you again in the future.
